Christmas Service of Remembrance

Pictured here is our beautifully decorated Service of Remembrance Christmas Tree that we decorate each year. This year we had Glass Angels that were individually personalized and a Personalized Pictured Prayer Card with the verse " I'm spending Christmas with Jesus this year".

" Lighting Of Candles "

" Go Light Your Candle "
This stand, beautifully decorated holds the candles that  are lit by a family member In Memory of their loved one. Beside the candle a personalized name tag is placed for all who have passed away since our last Annual Service of Remembrance that was  held in December, 2006.

                   

" Carry Your Candle "
This is another candle holder that serves the same purpose as the "Go Light Your World" and again holds the second portion of out theme. "Carry Your Candle"



" Gathering Around Our Tree "
Norma explains the details of our Christmas Tree, which holds
personalized glass Angels, along with a pictured prayer card with the poem " I'll be spending Christmas with Jesus Christ this year "on it for all who have passed away since our last Service of Remembrance.

" The Packaging Table "
Mavis Boudreau awaits for the family members to come and bring their Angels  Candles, Memorial Cards and Name Tags, to her so that she can wrap them for you to transport hem home with you safely.

" A Touch Of Grace "
Our local Folk Choir pictured here as James Boudreau, playing the guitar, singing is Jenny Pardy, Margaret Landry and Jackie Samson, better known as A Touch of Grace provides  appropriate music for the occasion.

" Awaitng Yhe Arrival Of Our Families "
Funeral Director Derek Marchand, takes a moment to review things before the Memorial Service begins.

" Our Guest Speaker "
Our guest speaker Terry Boudreau, shared with the families present how she over came her grief and how she got through the loss of her husband Roy at a very young age.

Norma addresses  the crowd, expressing her thanks, for their presence at this years' celebration, along with a Thank You to all  who had participated in preparing and presenting the 3rd
Annual Service of Remembrance.
